Orpheus MK5.5 is a brand new design developed based on Orpheus MK5. Considering that some users don't like to see oxidized parts but still want to appreciate the texture of copper directly, we have launched the Orpheus MK5.5 version, which uses Litz structure that basically does not oxidize and has better sound performance. The 5.5 version has thicker and more upfront vocals, clear and flavorful high notes, clear overall lines, concentrated low frequency, and excellent sound performance, which is also very soft and worth collecting as a good wire. It can significantly enhance the performance of headphones of different levels, and its design is versatile, suitable for all kinds of sound performance.

Orpheus MK5.5 designed and developed using Cryo UP-OCC Litz structure single crystal copper (UP-OCC is currently the only OCC material invented by Professor Ohno, the Japanese OCC inventor, and produced in Taiwan through the transfer of technology patent authorization. UP is actually the code name for Famous Factory in Taiwan. Two Japanese wire factories have also obtained patents in the past, but they have now been discontinued produced cables.
4wire cable length is about 1.25 meters ± 3cm.The wire comes with ear hooks if the original factory provides them. If not, they are not included. Please specify any special requirements.
Currently, black metal sliders and splitters are used.
Origin: The wire, TCGP plug, and OC full range of self-produced terminals are all designed and produced in Taiwan!
Wire weight: 4wire is about 27g up and down, and 8wire is about 42g up and down (the above is the weight of the tested finished wire, which may vary slightly due to different terminal plugs).
Actual Customer Experience
W40: The cable is indeed very soft, much better than the previous generation MK4. In this aspect, it is worth the money. The wearing experience of the MK4 made me give up upgrading the cable. However, the TCGP MMCX connector is a bit big, and you have to adjust the angle before installing it to avoid it getting stuck (only Westone earphones require this). The structure of the Litz wire is amazing, and the sound quality has been greatly improved. (August 20, 2017) SE535LTD: The sound is thick...the low frequency is amazing! (May 24, 2018) SE535LTD: Previously used MK4 4wire. MK5.5 8wire has significant improvement in three frequencies, and occasionally, you can hear a few loose low-frequency sounds like earmuff headphones. The high frequency extends more naturally, but when there are many instruments, they tend to blur together. Looking forward to the sound after running in. The overall value for money is super high. (June 11, 2018) SE535LTD: Shipment was fast! It fits very well with the SE535LTD. The sound field becomes wider, the instrument separation is good, and the low frequency is elastic. Good cable! (November 3, 2020) IM02: Fast shipping, good quality. After changing the cable, it feels like a completely different earphone. I realized that I previously used a fake IM02... (August 10, 2018) IM02: Superb. After changing to IM02, the difference is obvious compared to the original factory cable. (February 24, 2019) IM03: As for the listening experience, IM03 has an obvious overall improvement compared to the original factory cable, especially in being able to hear details that were previously unnoticed. What surprised me the most was the plug. Except for the original factory cable, with other cables, whether it was a random plug or an upgraded cable, one ear or even both ears would be loose or difficult to insert. There would be no crisp "click" sound, and there would be a feeling of mismatch. However, when changing to this cable, not only can I hear the crisp "click" sound, but it is also very tight. The feedback of inserting it feels very comfortable. (April 17, 2021) IM50: The upgrade is really noticeable. After changing the cable for IM50, the sound field became much wider, the clarity of the human voice improved, and the shipping speed was really good. (October 15, 2019) IM70: Shipping was very fast, great! After changing the cable for ATH IM70, it really feels like changing to a new earphone. The problem of high-pitched and sharp human voices under the same volume output is gone, and it has become more rounded and full. The low frequency is richer and fuller, the drums are clearer, and the resonance is louder. The instrument details are more abundant, and the performance of the movie soundtrack is pretty good! (September 27, 2019) IE80: After changing to this cable, the high frequency is clear, the sound field is wider, and the earphone has an obvious upgrade. (November 8, 2018) IE80: I felt the difference as soon as I changed to this cable. I am slowly breaking it in. (February 21, 2019) IE80s: I received it. The exquisite wooden box packaging and beautiful cable made me feel that it was worth buying at first sight. The 8-wire cable with IE80S has a warmer and thicker sound! The layering after changing to 4.4 is particularly obvious, and I feel that it is worth buying the company's silver wire or copper-silver mixed wire to experience different high sound quality in the future. The 8-wire cable is braided beautifully. Although it is a bit difficult to bundle it with the thicker leather cable tie that comes with it, it is still great! (April 12, 2019) IE80s: The shipping speed was fast. The tuning is much better than the original factory cable, and I am very satisfied. (September 8, 2020) IE80: The packaging is carefully and exquisitely made, and you can see the seller's attention to detail. As soon as I changed to this cable, I felt an upgrade. The problem of low-frequency blur has been improved, and it has become more solid and cohesive. There is a significant and even improvement in the three frequencies! (April 12, 2021) WS1100: The experience from before purchase to after purchase was really great. Overall, the sound has been upgraded a lot, and I may also buy another one for my IE80S in the future. (February 16, 2019) 3.5-3.5: It arrived in a week, and the packaging is exquisite. Compared to the original factory cable, the sound is cleaner, the human voice is brighter, the mid-to-high frequency is wider, the low frequency is thicker, elastic, and powerful. The quality of the cable is pretty good. (July 10, 2019) HD660S: The most obvious thing when I first listened is the solid mid-to-low frequency. The high frequency is slightly dark, but after running in for 24 hours, the high frequency gradually becomes more transparent but not too sharp. It is very rational. It is grand and magnificent when listening to orchestral music, and it is very close when listening to female voices. The performance is pretty good. This cable is versatile. (February 15, 2020) Final MAKE 1: Paired with Final MAKE 1, the first impression is that it has a bigger sound field than the Jing cable, and the human voice has a bit of airiness and is slightly backward but still in the front. Overall, it feels like listening in the front row of a concert hall. The performance of the musical instruments is pretty good, and the low frequency has increased a bit. Looking forward to the performance after breaking it in. (May 9, 2020) Sony XBA-N3: Personal feeling: After connecting to Sony's XBA-N3, the high frequency has an obvious improvement, and compared with the original factory cable, the continuity has increased a lot. The sound of the guitar and piano is very crisp. The mid-frequency human voice has a more prominent feeling and is very pleasant to listen to. The low frequency is elastic but more scattered. The sound field and resolution are pretty good, allowing the potential of the earphone to be fully utilized. It is enjoyable to listen to movie soundtracks or band performances, and you can feel the beauty of the large sound field, the rich expression, the magnificent feeling, and the scenery created by different sounds. The cable is pretty beautiful, and I am slowly breaking it in. Looking forward to its future performance! (December 31, 2020)
