we insist all detailed
OC Studio, from ourearly beginnings to now, is approaching its fifth anniversary at the end of 2017. We have always strived to use high-quality materials and processes while attempting to create more exciting products. With the expansion of the international market, many friends have always expected us to create higher-level products. We have been constantly planning, and in late 2016, we began preparations. In this product development, we re-examined and redesigned our brand image, spending more than half a year to carefully craft Montana. We hope it will provide you with the best product experience that is exclusively yours!
Detail - From inside to outside
We did not miss a single detail during the development of Montana. We extended the development time to handle all the details perfectly. Here are some highlights that we hope will help you understand the uniqueness of Montana!
- Packaging: Creating a Perfect Unboxing Experience
- Leather Case: A Month of Craftsmanship
- Imported Fabric Mesh: In Vogue
- Y-Splitter: More Texture
- Wire and Plug: Montana uses 21AWG solid copper wire, double-stranded, to create a unique spatial feeling and high standard. This thickness is usually associated with looseness and other problems, but this is not what we want. After several months of testing and adjustments, our goal is to create a natural, broad, and detailed sound that captures the vastness of the wilderness, including the sounds of insects and birds in the mountains and forests. This is why we named it Montana! The default plug uses OC TCGP series, which is one of the highest quality plugs on the market! (For more information, please see the TCGP page)
Years of experience have been used to create a superior upgrade line experience.
Montana is a highly mature product created by OC Studio's many years of experience. We personally supervised every detail of the design, adopted many user feedbacks, and listened to every user's experience. We also reflected on what kind of sound can interpret a higher-end sound performance. We continue to expand our personnel establishment and insist on Taiwan assembly. Every detail must be the highest quality product, and top-notch equipment is to create excellent products that can stand in the international market. Montana belongs to the most appreciative you, welcome to visit and appreciate!

ACTUAL CUSTOMER feedback
3.5 on cable: Montana is really an amazing flagship copper cable, with a wide soundstage, good imaging, and does not lose detail and flavor. It's hard to imagine that a copper cable can perform like this. (February 26, 2018)
AKG N5005:
: The product has been received, the texture is very good, and the cable is really very soft, making it comfortable to wear. When I first connected it, I was very impressed. Not only did the soundstage become larger, the separation, resolution, and localization all improved, and the low frequency was also powerful. Despite this, it is still very listenable. I look forward to future style and higher quality successors. (July 1, 2019)
VE6:
: Thank you very much for OC's service and products. I really like this cable. I bought two cables this time: OCAuX and Montana, and both cables surprised me. The system used was VE6 paired with AK240 using 2.5 balanced. Overall, Montana is a very nice neutral copper cable with a large soundstage, lots of detail, a lively low frequency, a bright and pleasant mid-range, and natural high frequency. Both cables have a feeling of significant upgrades. The sound direction of X2 has not changed, but the listenability has improved, and overall there are fewer shortcomings, especially Montana is really very listenable.
I can't write too much here, and can't share a lot of complete details about the listening experience, but I am very grateful to OC for having two such good cables that we can buy at such a reasonable price. The listening experience feedback for both cables is due to the feelings I had after listening, and maybe I wrote too much, please forgive me!
Finally, thanks again to OC for being able to produce satisfying cables. Thank you! (November 10, 2019)
FiiO FH5:
Overall, I am very satisfied with this cable paired with my headphones and equipment. I appreciate that the soundstage is wide, the spatial feeling is sufficient, and the vocals are much warmer. The low frequency is not too prominent, and the mid-high frequency is not too sharp. I find it very pleasant. (October 20, 2020)
HD800s:
The separation and resolution have been significantly upgraded, and the mid-range thickness has increased, and the sound lines are more obvious. I never thought that just a copper cable could have such a powerful upgrade feeling. (May 1, 2021)
AWAS:
: I'm not very good at writing reviews, please forgive me.
When I received the cable, the feel was different from other cables. The cable was smooth and very soft under the mesh covering.
Listening experience: On the original cable, the high frequency of AWAS was a bit ear-piercing, and the low frequency was thin.
After changing the cable, when the high frequency surged, it was no longer ear-piercing, and the low frequency was indeed thicker. Of course, compared to other headphones, it is still not thick enough, but personally I think the current thickness is crisp and comfortable. Thank you for recommending this cable, but it's a bit of a shame that the cable is too long to fit into the exquisite leather case, haha. (September 15, 2022)
